It snowed late in Helsinki

It snowed late last week in Helsinki.
The scenery was very beautiful. Like living in a silver world.
A boy made a snowman. He looked very happy while making it.
However, the temperature rose(2~3℃) Monday afternoon and the snow melted.
When snow melts, it is difficult to walk around as the ground gets soggy and sticky.
Because the scenery becomes messy and ugly when snow melts,
I also get grumpy.
It is the time of year when the ground is usually frozen and becomes just like a skating rink - which I find most unpleasant.
I have fallen down many times.

I have taken up the challenge of it again from today!

I haven't written this blog since Aug 1.
It was hit the mark for me that Mochi said on November 11st.
"Why did you leave it part way though after you had begun to write an English blog?"
I really want to speak English well; if at all possible .
However, I am amazed because my heart was never in it until now...
Because I spent such an enormous time,
I got tired of the blog...
I started writing a diary in English just for me.
However,
I have taken up the challenge of it again from today!!

My best birthday in Naantali

The end of last week was my birthday .
my husband reserved the spa hotel in Naantali.
This hotel is famous in Finland and in neighboring countries.
The hotel has five-star spa pools.
We relaxed and enjoyed the hotel.
Naantali is a town near Turku City.
There is the President's summer residence and "Moomin world" .
We had visited Moomin world in the summer, the year before last. "Moomin world" has an amusement park for children who are on the island,
and they can enjoy it's natural beauty.
When we visited last time, it was not possible to enjoy it so much because our son was still small.
However,he enjoyed it enough this year.
There was Moomin's house, and of course
we met the Moomin family and Moomin's friends.
I am very happy that I have a kind husband and a lovable son.

strawberry picking

My husband and my son went strawberry picking last week.
They picked 5.5Kg of strawberries.
We ate half of those strawberries by themselves.
I made strawberry pie and strawberry ice cream and strawberry jam .
Handmade strawberry jam and strawberry ice cream are delicious.
Strawberry picking is a free entrance fee and it's all-you-can-eat .
Only the amount of the picked strawberries is paid for.
It cost 20 Euro for 5.5Kg but because 2.5Kg Euro is 500g in our market,
our strawberries are half the price.

A lot of strawberries can be picked in Finland in the summer.
However, the strawberry seasocn has already ended this month.
Following is the blueberry season.
We are going blueberry picking.

I am studying English and Finnish now.
I am going to a Finnish course at a language center at Helsinki university.
Finnish is a happy language though it is difficult.
Finnish is not so well-known in Japan.

It is easy for me to listen and
to pronounce because the pronunciation of Finnish sounds like Japanese.

I am studying only grammar at class today.
It is difficult and boring.

However, I was happy and the class is always very happy.
My classmates in the Finnish course today are in a very happy mood.
The teacher is a good person.
There was an ambassador in the class.
He is a gentleman and studies very ardently.
He can speak Chinese, English, French, and Japanese.
I was looking forward to meeting him .
I studied with him and spent the time happily.

I'm "myy".
I have lived in Helsinki City in the capital of Finland.
I am not so good at English.
However, I want to become good English.
Therefore, I will keep the diary in English today.
I am married .
I heve a boy .
His name is "muu".
He goes to the day kindergarden in Finland.
I am studying Finnish now.
